Recurring Dreams

Photographs often focus on unique or special persons or events.

The images of Recurring Dreams, however, consist of images of seemingly unimportant and unrelated objects and places.

In fact, it is the very ordinariness of the subject matter of these images that enables you to focus on the recurring rich colors, textures and compositions.

Stripped down to their essential qualities, you can see:
- the peacefulness and softness of blue snow on a city street, or - the anxiety of a blue door that is frozen shut and cannot be opened.

The series, "Recurring Dreams" was the subject of one person shows at
- Binghamton University, Binghamton, New York (January - February, 2008), and - Southern Light Gallery, Amarillo, Texas (October - November, 2007)
